I’m 52 years old and come from a background in the Fire Service. With 30 years service under my belt, this became a new venture for me in 2018 after my retirement. So I can’t impress you by telling you I have years of experience in the motor industry because, well, I don’t! I also operate from a business unit instead of a traditional car sales 'pitch'. That’s actually good news for you because it means I keep my prices low; lower than the big main dealers with fancy showrooms and shiny lights that hypnotize you into spending much more money than you really need to!!
However, I hope that any perceived negativity due to my lack of experience or shiny showroom will be more than made up by my background in serving the public for so many years and by my (I’m reliably informed) friendly and trustworthy personality! In an industry sometimes tarnished by stories of bad service and ‘Arthur Daley’ types, I hope to be someone that you instantly feel you can trust and be comfortable with.
You can view my range of standard cars here. I also specialise in wheelchair accessible vehicles. Why? Well, I have an amazing little reason why I'm particularly passionate about WAVs. See below :-)
Around the same times as Dad was deliberating setting up in car sales, he was also poring over the fine details of (and I mean really poring over) a new wheelchair accessible vehicle for me. Lightning struck him! Why not specialise in selling WAVs? So a new venture was born...
Did I mention poring? Anyone who knows Dad will attest to the fact that he’s bordering OCD when it comes to fine detail. He knows from his own experience how time consuming and energy sapping being a carer is at times. There are so many little tasks needing done and that’s where military-like planning really helps. Shaving a few seconds off as many of these little tasks as possible (or maybe finding ways to eliminate some completely) can all add up to a huge amount of time and energy saved. This all comes true when looking at the process of getting in and out of a WAV and also making sure that everything else is as comfortable and streamlined as possible. No detail is left to chance.
Also, because he’s seen first hand what happens in vehicle accidents, Dad’s attention to detail when it comes to vehicle safety is meticulous. If he could wrap me up in cotton wool he would! And his approach doesn't just apply to me; he really does care this much for his customers too.
I'm Stuart's wife and I help keep things running in the background. I'm sure that you've already heard quite enough of Stuart and Rory's ramblings! So I'm just saying a quick 'hello' so that you can put a face to the name if we end up chatting in emails or on the telephone.
